I fell in love with cooking as a little girl, sitting on the counter, helping Mom cook. That shared love of cooking is what this blog is all about. I want this to be a place where we can all share and learn from each other all our favorite recipes, kitchen tips, and more. From how to fry an egg to Grandma's tried and true classics to your favorite olive oil. I hope everyone enjoys the blog, has fun with it, and will contribute your own ideas.

Twice Baked Potatoes

Twice Baked Potatoes
From: Unknown

Potatoes
Butter
Sour Cream
Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Bacon Bits
Lawry’s Seasoned Salt
Black Pepper
Green Onion, chopped
Milk

First, wash and bake potatoes @ 400 for 1 hour, 15 minutes.
Slice two sticks of butter into pats, then place pats into large bowl.
Add entire package of bacon pieces to butter. Add one cup of Sour Cream, set mixture aside. Now cut potatoes into halves, being careful- they are HOT! Once halved, scoop the insides out of the skins and put them into the bowl, making sure to leave the skins in tact. Line the “potato skin shells” onto a cookie sheet. Now mash all the potatoes and mixture together well. Once mixed well, add ¼ tsp. of Lawry’s seasoned salt into the bowl. Now add 1 cup of shredded cheddar to the mixture and pepper to taste. Now finish with the diced green onions and make sure all is mixed together well. Now spoon mixture back into the potato skins, making a small mound on the top. Sprinkle the tops with more shredded cheddar and bake @ 350 for 20 minutes.
