I fell in love with cooking as a little girl, sitting on the counter, helping Mom cook. That shared love of cooking is what this blog is all about. I want this to be a place where we can all share and learn from each other all our favorite recipes, kitchen tips, and more. From how to fry an egg to Grandma's tried and true classics to your favorite olive oil. I hope everyone enjoys the blog, has fun with it, and will contribute your own ideas.

Spinach Artichoke Dip

I can't remember where I found this one, but I made it not too long ago and it was a really good one. Enjoy!
Spinach Artichoke Dip
From: Christi (unknown)
1 pkg. frozen spinach, thawed
1 jar marinated artichokes, chopped
8 oz. cream cheese
8 oz. sour cream
3/4 cup shredded parmesan
8 oz. shredded monterey jack cheese
1/2 onion, finely chopped
1 stick butter
red pepper flakes to taste

Saute' onions in butter, adding ingredients while mixing and blending well after each addition. Add ingredients in this order: spinach, cream cheese, sour cream, parmesan, artichoke hearts, red pepper flakes.
Remove from heat and put in crock pot or microwave dish. Top with monterey jack cheese and melt. Serve hot with chips or bread.
