I fell in love with cooking as a little girl, sitting on the counter, helping Mom cook. That shared love of cooking is what this blog is all about. I want this to be a place where we can all share and learn from each other all our favorite recipes, kitchen tips, and more. From how to fry an egg to Grandma's tried and true classics to your favorite olive oil. I hope everyone enjoys the blog, has fun with it, and will contribute your own ideas.

Pumpkin Dip

Yes. Pumpkin Dip. It sounds crazy, but let me tell you it is AMAZING. I had the stuff in my pantry and whipped it up because I was wanting something pumpkin-y this past fall. I couldn't believe how good it was! I made it again at Thanksgiving and everyone loved it. I passed the recipe on to almost everyone who tasted it. It's ridiculous. And not only does it taste incredible but you probably already have the stuff in your pantry, and a 3 year old could make it. SO good. Enjoy!

Pumpkin Dip
Recipe from: Merletta

1 small can of pumpkin (make sure it is PUMPKIN and not Pumpkin Pie Mix)
16 oz Cool Whip
1 large instant Vanilla pudding
½ teaspoon Cinnamon.

Mix the first four ingredients. Add the Cinnamon and mix again. Use with apples or graham crackers.

Can substitute Fat free/sugar free cool whip and sugar free pudding for a healthier treat too.

Idea: take top off pumpkin, clean out, line with foil then use as a bowl to serve chips, dip, etc. (GREAT idea Merletta!!)
